I love to learn. I got into economics and statistics as an undergraduate at Stanford, took a research assistant position at the National Bureau of Economic Research, and was convinced to pursue a PhD in Economics. I completed my PhD at MIT, writing in public economics and applied econometrics using large administrative datasets, and realized I was most excited to engage with the everyday econometric questions that make the modern economy tick. I am currently a Principal Economist at Wayfair, sitting at the intersection of economics/data science/machine learning to help solve a wide range of business challenges. It's fun, interesting, and I get to keep learning every day.
